China Business Intelligence Network News: China's import of disinfectants is on the rise. In 2011, China imported 94.92 tons of disinfectants, an increase of 28.73% over the same period last year, and imported $43.81 million, an increase of 16.99% over the same period last year. China's imports of disinfectants from Singapore reached 9.0245 million US dollars in 2011, accounting for 20.60% of the total imports, followed by the United States, Germany and Japan, accounting for 16.71%, 11.00% and 11.00% of the total imports, respectively.
Data from China Business Intelligence Network show that the export volume of disinfectants in China has stopped falling and rebounded. In 2011, the total export volume of disinfectants reached 8814 tons, up 31.49% year-on-year, and the export amount reached a record high of 16.123 million US dollars, up 55.18% year-on-year. Hong Kong is the main export destination of disinfectants in China. In 2011, China exported 6.545 million US dollars of disinfectants to Hong Kong, accounting for 40.59% of total exports.
From January to December 2011, the import price of disinfectants in China was US$4615.66 per ton, while the export price was US$1829.28 per ton.
